School websites – May 2019 showcase

What we love most about creating fantastic school websites is building a strong relationship of collaboration with each school and Trust we work with. The teachers, managers, marketers and students we speak to each posess their own ideas, approaches and passion for what they do and we take great inspiration from every single person we come into contact with throughout the process. Here’s our latest set of school websites – we hope you’ll feel as inspired by them as we do!

The Good Shepherd Trust

“Transforming schools. Transforming lives.” This powerful motto is the very first thing you’ll see upon arriving at the new trust website for The Good Shepherd Trust. As a growing family of sixteen church and community schools, The GST serves 4300 children across the Diocese of Guildford. The Cleverbox team wanted to reflect the trust’s exceptional standards of excellence in learning through an equally excellent website. The website’s design is simple but effective, with a clear navigation menu and a ticker tape style announcement bar to share important news with parents.

Reeds School

When we were first contacted by Reed’s School, they were working with a website provider at the time who didn’t provide the level of service or quality of design they wanted from their school website. We were delighted to be selected to help them achieve their vision and are thrilled with the positive feedback we’ve received since launching their new website. With a new fully bespoke school website including some really special features such as the ‘Reed’s Community’ and ‘School Life’ sections, we are so pleased to have delivered on the unique look and feel that the school were after,  backed by an outstanding level of service and unlimited web support as is standard for all Cleverbox clients.

Priory Academy (Scholars Ed Trust)

Despite having served their local community for 100 years, Priory Academy are entirely modern in their approach to learning. For a school that uses technology to deliver its curriculum, we needed to create a website that used some clever technological features to reflect this. Naturally, the website is responsive across all devices, includes social media links and presents an interactive menu bar to help with easy navigation. Parents can also download the ‘School Connect‘ app, which provides a really user-friendly channel for the school to communicate with them in real-time.

Woodard Academies Trust

The Woodard Academies Trust was established in 2007 and today provides outstanding education to pupils within six innovative academies in the UK. We take a different approach when building a trust website as there’s a need for great organisation of policy documentation, the incorporation of News from around the trust and a consideration for how the audience of the website will differ to that of a school website.

Edinburgh Academy

We love a good image and video carousel on the homepage! As you arrive on the Edinburgh Academy website, the site comes to life with photos, video footage of the the school and its pupils and big, bold text rotating automatically in front of your eyes. The panel below the carousel has been cleverly designed to provide a clear route to Nursery, Junior School and Senior School within this modern, exciting and vibrant co-educational school in Scotland.
