At Cleverbox, we believe that the foundations of strong and effective design can lead to marketing success regardless of a school’s location. We are proud to have had the opportunity to support a variety of British Schools internationally in their student and staff recruitment objectives. Our approach to website design for international schools begins from a comprehensive understanding of our client’s challenges, goals and ambitions. This blueprint for success has been equally beneficial for schools outside of the UK.
Here is some insight into our experiences of collaborating with international schools across the globe, helping them build strong brand identities and communicating their unique stories to the world.
The need to connect with students, parents, and the wider community is universal; that’s why we’ve dedicated ourselves to understanding the nuances of different cultures and educational landscapes, allowing us to create designs that resonate with diverse audiences.
Our international school portfolio is something we’re incredibly proud of. We’ve had the privilege of partnering with some truly inspiring institutions, each with its own distinct character and vision.
Let’s take a look at some of the amazing schools we’ve collaborated with:
Salam Education, Dubai
Developed a family of 3 school websites that reflect a vibrant community and commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals. Comprising of a new Trust website, along with Al Salam Community School and Al Salam Private School. The project involved designing a range of features, ensuring a strong narrative and engaging experience for prospective families.
British Embassy School Ankara
Navigating the specific needs of a British school operating within a different cultural context was a fascinating challenge. We worked closely with the British Embassy School, located in Turkey, to create designs that balance heritage, ambition, location and culture to British and local families living in Ankara.
Copenhagen International School
Collaborating with Copenhagen International School allowed us to explore the intersection of Scandinavian design principles and international education. With a striking design, we focused on creating a clean, modern aesthetic that reflected the school’s forward-thinking approach to learning whilst showcasing their values and community stories.
Steam Education, Sweden
The beautiful cities of Uppsala and Stockholm provided the backdrop for our work with the Steam Education Trust. Starting with a full rebrand of the Trust and it’s 3 current schools, Uppsala International School, British School Stockholm and the soon-to-open American School Stockholm. We supported the Trust in developing a strong school brand and subsequent websites that captured the essence of their welcoming community and their commitment to providing a high-quality British education in Sweden.
International School of Flanders Tervuren
ISF (International School of Flanders) Tervuren is a small, English speaking international primary school for children ages 2.5 – 11, located just outside of Brussels. We helped them turn their outdated website into a modern easy-to-navigate hub they were proud of. With a focus on showing all the events and news from the school, along with homepage photo galleries, and a clear journey for school admissions, the new primary school website brings to life all the exciting things happening.
These are a few examples of international schools’ website designs, each project has been a unique and rewarding experience. It has helped us to expand our understanding of global education and refine our approach to design.
