At the start of the pandemic schools needed a new way to demonstrate what they had to offer to parents and students that were unable to visit the grounds. A school is very much about the environment and its people so we worked alongside our partners to develop a way for schools to present themselves effectively online in the form of virtual tours, student case study interviews, staff recruitment films and school promotional videos.

Promotional videos are able to be used across multiple platforms for various reasons, giving them a long shelf life. For example, the videos can be used on a school website, social media account and visual displays within the school.

It has been brought to our attention that during the unusual working conditions of 2019, we inadvertently began to use footage that was not produced by Cleverbox within a social media showreel and also on our website portfolio. The supplied footage became mixed up with our own work while we were producing an online open event platform for a long term client. This was done unintentionally but is nevertheless a mistake for which we unreservedly apologise. As a fellow creative agency we take Copyright breach incredibly seriously and want to make it clear that the video for Highworth Grammar School, and any clips we subsequently used from it, are in fact the work of Copper Tree Media, and not of Cleverbox. We thank Copper Tree Media, who are a well-established photography and video agency based in Kent, for bringing this to our attention. We have experienced similar incidents with the use of our own work by other agencies in the past and understand how important it is address the situation appropriately. Therefore we have undertaken steps to rectify the situation including writing this statement and removing all instances of the video, and any clips, from our website, social media channels or other marketing in which it may have appeared.
